“The most important thing a father can do for his children is love their mother,” said an unknown author. He said it to express children’s continual desire to see the smiling face of their mother. You feel the magnitude of the idea if you think deeply, and you instantly appreciate the founders of Mother’s Day.
Most countries celebrate Mother’s Day on the second Sunday in May. It is the one day of the year when children, young and old, try to show in a tangible way how much they appreciate their mothers.
Obviously, one day isn’t enough to honor Mom’s role. We should appreciate Mom on an ongoing basis because a mother’s role is beyond measure. She is a light in the dark, a guide in times of confusion, she offers hope in times of despair, and she sets you free from frustration. While all your loved ones may betray you, Mom overcomes all obstacles to stand behind you. She is always ready to sacrifice herself so as to give life to her child. Mom is an indispensable creature in our world.
I believe we all have both bright and cloudy memories of Mom buried in our brain. We feel sad when Mom feels sad; we smile when we watch her shining with happiness. Those pictures still remain in our memory and influence us either positively or negatively.
We care about our moms. We want to see Mom happy; to be loved; to live in peace and enjoy her children’s support. Yes, we want her to be appreciated. We want everyone to love and respect Mom just as we love and respect her.
On the other hand, we dislike anyone who disguises our mom. We hate the person from the bottom of our heart. If we can, we don’t hesitate to take revenge.
On Mother’s Day, let’s appreciate Mom who is the source of all goodness. Let her know that we are proud of her, and let’s assure her she is the guiding light in our life. These comforting words will make Mom happy and give us peace.
In addition, we need to re-evaluate our attitude to the mothers of our children. Just as we don’t like anyone who pretends to be our mom, let’s not abuse the mother of our children. Let’s love their mother to make our children happy. Let’s appreciate the indispensable creature in our lives—Mother. Happy Mother’s Day!
